And I really liked the beginning and the lyrical interpretation for "the man with the child in his eyes."
Awww, thanks. I mean, it helps that this episode was so beautifully lit. The golden light on Matt's face contrasting with the mysterious pale blue of the moonlight on Caitlin, and then the end, when the Doctor is silhouetted against the TARDIS in blue and white. Ah, chiaroscuro, I love it! There was a lot of that in Vampires, too! (Appropriate given the setting.) Given that Moffat likens the Doctor to Peter Pan in this episode, the interpretation seemed fitting! :D "I grew up." "Don't worry, I'll soon fix that."
