One of my (many) favourite parts is how the image of Jupiter transforms into Beryl in front of Nephrite's eyes. That is some very, very strong writing there: perfect flow, perfect images, and very haunting. Almost gave me goosebumps!

And Jadeite and Zoisite, those utter idiots. What's wrong with whiskey, why does it have to be absinthe? I mean, really, they might as well have slipped him some acid. Idiots.

Well, they are drunk, too. If they were sober, they would never have thought it was a good idea. *cough*

A particular stroke of genius was Nephrite knowing that Venus would understand about him and Jupiter, about what it means that she kissed him back. I love how Venus is so very kind to him, and how her anger at Jupiter practically radiates off the screen.

Apart from the fact she's the only girl there, he knows he can just say those words and she'll understand because of who she is. I don't think Venus's kindness gets enough attention in fanfiction, really. She may be a tomboy but she's still got a good heart.

I'd love to read how Venus gives Jupiter a good long talk: blaming only Nephrite for her cheating on her boyfriend is wrong, and I bet Jupiter knows it, but it's easier this way, isn't it?

I am trying to write that (it's hard!). Jupiter knows that Nephrite already feels guilty about what happened in the past, so she can push the blame for the kiss onto him as well, instead of accepting that she had a part in it, and he'll just accept it was his fault. She's taking advantage of him in a pretty bad way. I'm surprised nobody has accused me of making her OOC yet really. ^^;
