My absolute favourite lines were the ones that followed though:

Gotta hand it to him, the boy has balls. After his giant fuck-up with Nephrite, he still dares to get in Kunzite's face about Venus and actually lives to tell the tale.

Well, yeah. He's married to Mars! Requires not only courage but a lot of nerve. ;) It helps that he is still a little drunk, so he doesn't think about what Kunzite might do to him, haha. And Kunzite thinks that staying up and keeping watching over Nephrite (who snores) and Zoisite (who talks in his sleep) is punishment enough. Plus, Venus was probably whispering in his ear about all the things she wanted him to do to her while they were dancing. ;3

Zoisite lying down next to Nephrite to keep the nightmares away was a really cute touch, it spoke of their friendship and comradiere, I really like that.

Ha, true, but it also means that he avoids getting his head bitten off by Kunzite over what just happened and Jadeite has to deal with it all. ;)

Is there any way you can submit this to sm-monthly because this screams "award for best dialogue" so loudly that my ears ring.

I don't know, I don't think it really fits with any of the themes and it doesn't really feature the otp. ^^;
