It's funny. Normally, I'm just simply not a slash person. But there's something about these two... let's just say that while I knew I liked their interactions last series, I knew for sure I was a fan of this pairing when I uncontrollably squeed when Eleven FINALLY gave Rory a kiss on the head last ep.

Neither am I! I'm always the canon shipper! And I love Rory/Amy and Eleven/River. But I first noticed something between these two in that moment in Vampires of Venice when the Doctor gets right in Rory's face and they're just staring at each other and I was like "... what is going on here?" And while there were some tantalising moments in Series 5 (sonic screwdrivers touching and sparking *cough cough*) these two episodes were a veritable BONANZA of Rory/Eleven.
