Wow, 'Happy Birthday' in Norwegian! Dagen means 'day', right? :) Tak!

Mr Wonderful was there, and sat by me during our morning break, wished me Happy Birthday and made me laugh lots. *happy sigh*

Dagen means the day, jus day is dag. And gratulerer is congratulations, med is with. You clever girl. :) But then you have language savvy, don't you? :)

I did manage to work out that 'gratulerer' is 'congratulations', that's where our word must come from! (Spanish and French have 'felicitations/felicitaciones', which we turn into 'felicitations', but that's seen as a bit pretentious.)

*basks in praise* I am quite good at languages as McGonagall would put it.
