I was just looking through the original Percy thread on Seen and Unforeseen, the pre-HBP discussion forum on The Sugar Quill and discovered this in one of my posts.

Back to the death thing - if we're speaking about a Weasley having to die, then I truly believe it might be one of the twins. I have no real logic for this except for the fact that they are very close (I believe the parallels with Padfoot&Prongs are deliberate) and very obvious. I don't know how one would die, but I believe that a twin dying (possibly George?) would be far more tragic and bittersweet than Percy dying. There's also the fact that whilst Molly is worried about Percy, Bill and maybe even Charlie, she's not worried about the twins. The fact that she practically ignores them - "That's everyone in the family!" - is a warning sign to me. Of course, we've already had her regretting being nasty to them in GoF - but I still think that one of them might die.

Holy freaking crap, people. I can't believe it.

Oh my...

Although I disagree that Molly ignores them. And in fact, she does see them dead through her Boggart in OoTP.

But still, that's very true. Who said that? You or someone else?

I remember reading GHV's theories... several of them were right on the nose!

Wow. On-the-money! Much better than anything I predicted (I concluded that Snape might "disappear to a far-off country for many many years.") Molly's attitude towards the twins is telling - she loves them, sure, but when the Boggart torments her, it shows the twins as a single entity. (Not that a Boggart's form should, perhaps, be read into quite so deeply, but...) Great job!

I've been cleaning my room and I found a sign used from two Sugar Quill summits, with autographs from both occasions! I feel like I should auction it off..

Well, you weren't TOTALLY wrong... death's about as far-off as you can get. I knew Snape was dead the moment he killed Dumbledore. I didn't really care if he was Dumbledore's man or not because it didn't matter anymore which side he was on, he'd just signed his own death warrant by killing the only man who ever believed there was good in him. And so I felt sad when Nagini killed him but not at all surprised.
