This is my first ever fan video. As such, it's a little bit ragged around the edges and the editing is not perfect, but I'm still proud of it. I would love comments and constructive criticism.

Gah, I'd love to watch it and then leave you a comment, but I haven't started watching Dr.Who yet, so before I hit "play", tell me whether there are any major spoilers. :)

I'm not much of a one for fanvids, but it's nice to see one with a non-cheesy song and I thought the editing was pretty smooth - didn't notice any glitches. Haven't seen Runaway Bride - but C Tate as DoctorDonna was my favourite thing from the whole of David Tennant's run.

D'aww, that was very touching! :) I must say that despite your initial warnings for it, the vid itself has a good heart and a sense of timing with fun bits like 1:28! Heee!!! There are definite technical things that can be tweaked for your next vid, and if you ever need to talk to someone about vidding you can hit me up for sure. ;) But I just want to say that the most important thing here is the fact that you went and made a vid! Because that is such a hurdle that so many people can't get over. The actual going and doing it. So brava! *confettis* :D

I'm not really sure of WLMM's capabilities, but in general the way I do audio is by using DVD Audio Extractor (http://www.castudio.org/dvdaudioextractor/). You'd basically rip the audio track and then rip the video separately and sync them manually later. But that way you won't have the soundtrack interfering or anything like that.

And for your next vid (WHICH YOU WILL DO) you should watch out for those ghost frames and a little bit less Talky Face. ;) But again the point is, YOU DID IT! :D

Yeah I figured WLMM would give you some sort of troubles with it. But maybe there are tutorials out there that can help you get around it. (Or maybe you can think about upgrading editing programs. ;))

Well, I would if I knew what you were talking about. :P I'm guessing 'ghost frames' are the beginning of the next frame/end of the previous one? And Talky Face is people talking?
Bingo! :D Ghost frames are definitely something that can be avoided for your next vid. They're generally a no-no in vidding and Talky Face is a bit trickier because there are times when it's considered ok (like when it's a crack vid or something lulzy) but most of the time it's best to cut around any dialogue sections. You want to capture the emotion without the words, literally Showing not Telling, if you will. But yeah, you get the idea. :) Good luck on the next one!
